City of a Hundred Spires - Prague

Think of the most beautiful places to visit on any Europe travel tours and the usual suspects would include Switzerland, United Kingdom, France, may be Germany and few others!

Ever thought about Central Europe, specifically the capital city of Czech Republic, Prague? I’m sure most of you won’t even be aware of the fact that Prague was once the seat of the Roman Empire and is referred to as the “Golden City”! Prague is a major historical center of Europe and offers an eye-popping view of its well preserved ‘culture& history’. It’s impossible to find so much ancientness anywhere else in the world and Prague does not disappoint & treats you with the heritage structures from Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Cubist, and Baroque leading to the Neo-Classical & Modern era. This Alpha - world city is situated on the Vltava River in central Bohemia and gets approximately 4.1 million tourists every year, making it an intrinsic part of European tour packages. Some of the more famous sites are; Old town, Charles bridge, Prague castle (largest Castle in the world), the old Jewish quarter also known as Josefov, National Theatre, Wenceslas Square etc. All in all, Prague is a must visit for people interested in European history and architecture.
