Picturesque Portugal
The land of explorers, Portugal attracts tourists from all over the world. The never ending sea coast of Atlantic and Mediterranean makes Portugal an exciting & adventurous holiday destination on our europe travel tours package. One of the smaller European countries, Portugal has a big heart and you can feel that in its capital Lisbon, which attracts almost around 7-8 million tourists each year, second only to Barcelona. Also a part of our “budget tours europe” package, Portugal was one of the first few countries that undertook intensive exploration and colonization of countries in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Oceania. This in turn has influenced Portugal’s culture which is reflected in its architecture, cinema, music, art, literature, and even in its cuisine. It has even developed niche draws for the travelers to the country, which separates it from the other European destinations e.g. health, nature and rural tourism. Some of the most sought after tourist spots are in Portugal are; Lisbon, the Algarve, Madeira, Costa Verde, Montanhas, The Azores islands, The Douro Valley, Porto Santo Island, and Alentejo.
